PRE-Preparedness:
When any disaster strikes, whether its local or national, it will be a while before help can arrive, if at all. Your being prepared for any catastrophe can be the difference between survival and not. There are some real simple, easy things to do to prepare now for that time.

Start a Vermicompost KIT NOW! WHY? Because plant seeds germinate FAST, by just tossing them into it. This is A fast, simple means of starting new plants to replenish your food supply. When the plants sprout, carefully move them to a location (hydroponics) where they can grow, mature. Use water from the worm kit to water/feed them. IF the food chain is broken for several months, these will be ready to eat!

| Get Seeds of fast growing vegetables, fruit and sprouts. Buy them or just take them from foods you already eat. Scrap some seeds from favorite tomatoes, peppers, melons, squash, strawberries, blueberries, etc.. Almost all will grow. TRY some before you have to, cut some eyes off of potatoes, before you peel the rest. Plant them in the vermicomposting kit. See how they grow. |
| EDUCATE yourself for the time you will need it. LEARN now, there will NOT be any internet to learn from later. What you learn and do NOW will immensely help your chance of long term survival. EVEN if there is NEVER a Major disaster the worst you did was save the landfills, saved money on veggies and learned a great new thing! |
